When the body speaks – A way back to more vitality
Our body is a highly intelligent system that expresses far more than we consciously perceive. Yet more and more people are becoming alienated from their own sensations and eventually reach a point where they no longer feel themselves. Inexplicable pain, a lack of vitality, sexual dissatisfaction, or the feeling of having lost oneself are common symptoms of this inner alienation.
The body never forgets – it remembers what the mind has long since repressed.
Understanding through feeling. Deep-seated emotional distress manifests itself in the body – in physical pain, tension, or chronic complaints. These symptoms are not imaginary, but rather the expression of unresolved inner conflicts. Body psychotherapy is about giving these signals space, perceiving them, and deciphering their meaning. This happens through body awareness, the observation of bodily impulses, and the integration of breathing, movement, and voice into the therapeutic process.
If your body is experiencing pain for which there is no medical explanation, the key to improvement may lie in restoring the connection between body and mind. Through targeted therapeutic work, unprocessed emotions can be released and pent-up tensions released—for a life with more ease, joy, and inner connection.

In the sessions, current stressful issues are explored using body-oriented sequences. Techniques for this can include focusing on physical sensations through deep breathing or discovering and expressing impulses – while standing, sitting, or even lying down. This allows the inner voice to be given more expression. The body decides on its own which things want to emerge. We work with what wants to emerge in the sessions. To process the experiences at the end of the sessions and find the opportunity for a harmonious conclusion, integrative measures are implemented.
