Awareness for relationships

"As a sexual therapist, I don't just tell stories from books. My own journey back to pleasure has had a profound impact on me—and continues to teach me how important self-connection is."

Connectagain – where relationships gain depth.
I work integratively, combining psychotherapeutic, body-therapeutic, and couples- and sexual therapeutic approaches. My focus is on the close connection between body and mind – and on becoming aware of one's own suffering as a starting point for change.
My path began with a degree in business psychology, which gave me a solid understanding of human experience in social and professional contexts. As a consultant in human resources psychology, I supported companies in addressing individual needs—an experience that decisively shaped my interest in deeper therapeutic work.
My basic training includes relationship-dynamic sexual therapy and energetic body psychotherapy. Building on this, I completed advanced training with Prof. Dr. Ulrich Clement (Systemic Sexual Therapy) and Dr. Kai Fritzsche (Ego State Therapy for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder). I am also a certified yoga instructor and alternative practitioner for psychotherapy (HPG §1). I gained valuable practical experience at the renowned psychosomatic Oberberg Clinic in Wendisch Rietz, as well as over several years in individual and group settings and as an assistant in therapeutic training courses.
I also personally know how healing therapy can be. It helped me understand my history, develop new perspectives, and gain confidence in myself. These experiences shape my therapeutic approach—empathetic, clear, and at eye level.

Pleasure begins where performance ends.

"Sexuality has accompanied and interested me from an early age. This made the time when I thought I'd lost my desire for sex all the more difficult for me. I tolerated the occasional sex in my relationship, believing I was doing my partner a favor. At the time, I couldn't recognize that I was neglecting myself. The more time passed, the more often I rejected his advances. When sex became painful for me, our intimacy froze for good. My body signaled to me that things couldn't go on like this.
The path back to my own desire wasn't easy. But looking back, every effort was worthwhile. I learned that my relationship with myself is the key—to closeness, to vitality, to fulfilling sexuality. And that partnership is often a reflection of how much I see and accept myself."
